The purpose of the current document is to define the services offered to purchasers of a GOMOTORS vehicle under the terms of the guarantee and the conditions of application.

     1)     Beneficiary vehicle and contents :

    The vehicles of the various ranges which are commercialised by the GOMOTORS company via its Distribution network benefit from the following conditions of guarantee :

 

Excluded from this guarantee are vehicles which are altered for a specific use (rally, races, speed trials), and in a general manner those modified in such a way that their characteristics no longer correspond to those listed on the European Conformity certificate.

2)     Validity and mileage :

The current certificate is given to the customer and takes effect at the delivery of the vehicle, for the duration shown above, and for an unlimited number of kilometres/miles.

 

 

3)   Conditions of the guarantee :

The guarantee services are undertaken by GOMOTORS’ approved Distributors, and they are the only entities authorised  to intervene on our behalf, and only once the Log Book / User manual of the vehicle has been presented.

 

-          Details of the guarantee :

Replacement or repair of mechanical and electrical elements of the vehicle (parts and labour) which have been recognised as being defective, where the intervention is not due to the normal deterioration of these parts or their deterioration due to an abnormal utilisation of the vehicle.

Consequently, the client must :

Ø      Ensure that the conditions of use of the vehicle are in accordance with the instructions in the vehicle user manual (inappropriate use,  use other than that for which it was originally designed…)

Ø      Ensure that the schedule of services recommended by GOMOTORS is adhered to and undertaken within the approved network, including notably the costs of replacing worn parts (the non-respect of the schedule of services will invalidate the advantages linked to this certificate).

Ø      Take responsibility for any damage which results from abusive usage, from negligence or from an incident arising from usage or an accident (eg disconnected cables, torn cardan drive shaft, engine flooded) including any direct or indirect costs arising from it.

 

- Exclusions :

Consequently, the present certificate does not cover :

Ø    Any adjustments and tuning required by the vehicle being covered

Ø     Operations which come under periodic servicing and replacement of worn parts.

Ø     Any eventual damage caused by reasons which are out of the control of GOMOTORS : repairs made by someone who is not approved by GOMOTORS, cases of force majeure, inadequate transporting or garaging...

Ø     Parts or units such as :

. Tyres and trims, seats, interior trim, bodywork, paint, seals, linings, dash board/ controls, headlights, bulbs and lights, mirrors, spacers, spark plugs, shock absorbers, exhaust, brake disks and linings, battery, belts,..

. Elements of the vehicle which have been altered and no longer conform to GOMOTORS specifications, or the replacement of original parts by parts of another origin and the consequences (deterioration, premature ageing) of transformation on other parts or units of the vehicle or the characteristics of it.

Ø      Any indirect consequences of an defect (loss of use, hire of a replacement vehicle).

 

4)     Geographical coverage :

The present certificate is valid in Europe, through the network of approved GOMOTORS distributors.

 

5)     Transferability of the contract :

The advantages of the present certificate are transferred to the purchaser of the vehicle in the limit of the rights remaining and under the original conditions of subscription.

 

6)     Legal Guarantee :

The present certificate does not seek to replace the legal guarantee for hidden defects which is included in articles 1641 and onwards of the French Code Civil.
